I know I preach a lot about being grateful, and if you’ve witnessed how life-changing adding the practice of gratitude in your life, you know why!

When we are intentional about practicing gratitude, we spend more time thinking about what we have to be grateful for. That tiny little change in our mindset reaps benefits across every aspect of our life.

Here is an older post I wrote about creating a gratitude journal, which may be super helpful for you.

Moving forward with 2020, I think we should all intentionally look for more opportunities to show gratitude.

Some psychologists at the University of California did a 10-week study where they had three groups of people write daily about 1)things they were grateful for, 2)things that annoyed them, and 3)about their day with no specific instructions. Not surprisingly, the group that kept the gratitude ended up happier than the other two groups. They also excercised more and had less doctor visits. You can read more about that article here.

We’re going to make this short and sweet today, so I am going to challenge all of you to keep a gratitude journal for the next three weeks (it takes 21 days to form a new habit, right?!). You can jot them down in a notebook (check out my post tagged above for more in-depth instructions 👆🏻👆🏻) or just start a new notepad on your phone to keep track of them. If you stick with this for THREE WEEKS, I promise, you WILL notice a difference!

Here is a gratitude journal that gives specific instruction and will lead you on the path to a more grateful life! Below is a plain journal (the one I have – in yellow even!) that I use.

Take care, guys ☺️❤️
